Story of God + Cigars & Theology LIVE
You probably know a lot about discipleship.
But when is the last time someone actually discipled you?
Face to face. In a home. Over a meal. Around a fire.
Most of us can talk about the process.
Very few of us have actually lived it.
Tina and I are opening our home to 30 people (hopefully you'll join us) for a full weekend — May 1st through 3rd. It's about 40 minutes from Seattle.
We're going to take you through two of the most powerful discipleship rhythms we know — the Story of God and Cigars & Theology — live, in person. We're doing this together over one weekend for the very first time.
This isn't a conference. It's not a seminar with a lanyard and a tote bag.
It's more like coming over to a friend's house for a few days — except you'll leave knowing exactly how to do some practical life-on-life discipleship you've probably wanted to do for a long time.
You pull up to our house around 5:30.
We'll have a meal together and you'll get to meet and hang with some of “Team K” — our family/oikos. You'll sit down with about 29 other people who care about what you care about.
The weekend starts — not with an agenda, but with food and people.
After dinner, Caesar and Tina will lead the whole group through the Bible — the way it was meant to be heard: as one Story.
Chronologically. Narratively. Genesis to Jesus — story by story, with real, deep conversation after each one.
Caesar has taught and used this process to train and disciple folks in over 30 countries. Pastors who've been in church their whole lives consistently say it's the first time the whole Bible made sense as one connected story. Something shifted — in how they see God, and in how they see themselves.
You don't just learn the method. You go through it yourself. We'll do some of The Story and talking until probably around 9:30.
We'll get back together at the house Saturday morning… have a light breakfast and then finish up the Story of God experience by around 12:30 p.m. or so.
You’ll be blown away at how many dots connect — about who God is, why He created us, who the Church is, and what our one true Mission really is.
Seriously. Rest. Take a walk. Explore the area. Sit on our porch and talk.
You get the afternoon off.
Come back to the house when you're ready.
We'll do a Happy Hour together, then sit down for an amazing dinner. (In case you didn't know, Tina is an actual trained chef!)
Then — as the sun goes down and the fire comes up on the deck — Caesar walks the group through a live Cigars & Theology conversation.
This is a proven way (step-by-step) to talk about real theology in a way that connects with real life. It's fun. It's honest. It goes places most Bible studies rarely go, and Sunday mornings never go.
Some of the guys from our oikos who are regulars when we do our local Cigars & Theology will also be joining us. You'll love these guys.
BTW: You absolutely do not have to smoke. The cigars are part of the vibe for a lot of our guys, but it is definitely not a requirement. Plenty of people sit by the fire, enjoy the conversation, and never pick one up.
The Cigars & Theology experience wraps up around 10:00 PM. (Usually later 🤔) Every person leaves with a copy of Caesar's book Slow Burn — a full recap of the experience, with 10 outlined conversations you can use the moment you get home.
While the guys are on the deck, Tina leads Sisters of the Vine inside — the same discipleship conversation process, for any women who'd rather not be outside with the cigars and fire.
Both groups come back together after. You are fully welcome here.
Caesar's famous breakfast. Good food, good coffee. The best.
Then a full open Q&A — how both processes work, the mechanics, the philosophy, how to bring it home to your context, and whatever else is on your mind.
We're done by 11:30 AM on Sunday.
The first 10 people to register get lifetime access to the full Story of God online course — normally $197, included at no extra cost.
The whole course was filmed inside our home. Same kitchen. Same living room. Same spaces you'll have spent the weekend in.
If you watch it after attending, you'll recognize the room. You'll remember the conversation. It hits differently when you've been there.
Once those 10 spots are claimed, this bonus is gone.
